I tried lots of physical and daily planners. This is my favorite on my Samsung Tab. Keep It Simple Stupid (KISS) is as deep as it gets here or Zen sounds better. It helps calm me somehow and definitely helps me from doing random tasks rather than the ones I am supposed to do. I also use it in Google Keep sometimes but Samsung Notes is the better writing experience. When you scroll down another opens and it's subtle enough to use as a black blank canvas for more text or doodling.

This daily planner background PDF file is a Zen inspired simple productivity tool for when you want to keep things as simple and clean as possible.

There is one background for landscape mode (holding Samsung Tab sideways) and one 1000px wide x 1500px high for portrait mode - holding your Tab or Samsung Note phone upright (see below).

There are 4 lined areas to list a task, todo, project or idea. Plus a Zen Enso circle where you can write your primary goal or idea for the day inside.

How to set up a custom background template PNG or PDF image in Samsung Notes:

Go to Settings > Style of New Notes > Template > Template > Click + at bottom > Select the PNG or PDF file from your device.

I like to set the background color to black. It is possible to use the first one on Microsoft OneNote too, but I don't currently have a Windows PC, so I can't add templates the normal way. Adding as an image on my Mac worked fine. Then I am able to write on it normally on my Samsung Tab S7 Plus. Good enough for me, but not ideal.

The landscape one can also be used on GoodNotes, but most users are on iPad, so it may not be the ideal fit. Why is this so cheap? Karma. Just for Karma points. I am not collecting emails or anything. 🙂
